It is estimated that one in three city dwellers will live in a slum by the year 2030. How can life be improved in areas that have little in the way of financial assets?
Hacer Mucho con Poco (Do More With Less) offers an alternative model in which good architecture can be implemented in a more sustainable and cost-effective way. A case study is presented in Latin America, where young architects and students of the field work to improve urban planning by, for example, increasing the use of local materials.
After the film, a discussion will address the question if architecture will save the environment or ruin it.
